The story goes something like this: The Punisher is being pursued by Ma Gnucci and her guards. He's wounded, unarmed, and must resort to whatever comes to hand in order to kill them. In this particular case, whatever comes to hand happens to be a Zoo.
Two perps have already been devoured. One courtesy of a piranha tank, the other became a Python's lunch (well, that certainly brings back memories of The Little Prince, doesn't it?).
As a last resource, the Punisher jumps into the Polar Bear holding site.
