Have you ever felt your life is changing way faster than you can keep up? That everything you knew, all the little tidbits and assumptions that compose “your reality” do not hold true anymore? Have you then started your way to the huge box of antiacid you keep hidden in your closet (admit it) and suddenly realized that you’re not actually hung over?
Welcome to my world.
At one point in the past two weeks I accepted a job at San Francisco based slide.com. I’ll be working alongside Johnnie Manzari in this Max Levchin startup on the design and web development side of things. I’ll be blogging more about the product (which has a lot of potential) in the near future.
Needless to say, I’m very excited to be joining this venture. I have met all the guys involved in the company, and one couldn’t ask more of a development team. They are all very motivated, highly experienced individuals.
I’ll be moving to San Francisco shortly, and I could use some help finding a nice apartment near public transportation. I’m also one hell of a roommate (feel free to construe that as you like), so if you’re looking, do drop me a line.

those are great news, i know ou gonna have a lot of new things to talk about, congrats
about the bloggies, well, maybe is not only about your location, isn’t it?
Felicidades!!! Wow SF that is great! I wish you the bestestest of luck!
You can live with me and my wife. We have plenty of room. No charge. However, we do live in Michigan…so I guess the commute would be a bit tedious. Maybe not the best idea. Congrats anyway!
I was going to say “you could live in my couch” but I think the 4 hour plane ride to SF might kill you too.
Congrats ;-) you’ll learn tolove the hills…j/k
Ah, yeah… a warning: start packing up the mexican candy! You might not see it in a while….
I was talking to some locals in SF recently, they said the best source for finding apartments is Craig’s List. So! You should use housingmaps, Craig’s List through the Google Map interface, very handy!
I see through your schemes: this is only be beginning of a full scale mexican invasion!
The Mexicans are coming, the Mexicans are coming!!
Congrats man. Had I known I would have just stayed there and shacked up with you (feel free to consture that as you like). :P !
Wow! from Guanatos to San Panchu. Is there something you’re not telling us????
Cool! Maybe I’ll see you there. San Francisco is a really nice city; I’m sure you’ll love it.
Slide.com has all the potential to become the next best thing. Can’t wait for the Mac release of the application. Great job and best of luck at your new job.
Quick question: what is Slide.com?
Our filters at work block it under the category “Spam E-Mail URLs”!
And no luck with Google cache because that is blocked too.
inchegorda has a point, at least you wont be missing any gaypride parades.
congratulations, sergio!
*grabs Rev*
Don’t listen to him, it’s not an invasion at all! all pure coincidence!!!
*to a radio*
East Coast Op number 3 to base: We’ve been discovered; proceed with plan B, I repeat, proceed with plan B.
Luna: You’re suppose to write that second paragraph in spanish… :P
Congrats man!!! You’ll like the ride ;) Thinking about it… r u willing to share some stock with your avid readers? Yes ? Si ? Oui ? :P
Que malinchista.
Just kidding. Congratulations!
Liebremax, you’re so right! Oops! See what happens when they put someone with bad memory in charge of the take over in the east coast?
Que no panda el cunico! I’ll fix it somehow…once I get some coffee on me.
Buena vibra!!
Haha, welcome to the SF club my friend. :)
Sergio, you better get a nice big appartment… so we can drop in….
Step two of the invasion….

Sergio, welcome to the Bay Area. Mi sofa es su sofa. Seriously, if you need a place to crash while home hunting, it’s yours. It’s in the East Bay, but BART has been very good to me for the past year, and being from slower parts of the country I enjoy having a large body of water between me and the chaos of the city.
Congrats man! That’s where I’m at right now in life, getting ready for some big transitions. My first day at a new job across the country is September 12th, and we’ve got all our stuff packed up and are ready to go. Best of luck at the new location and the new 9-to-5! :)
Movie “Comming to America” (with Eddie Murphy) comes to my mind. :-)
Que chido dude!… well, in your “fashion”, I’m glad for you dude!…Good luck at SF, Go and Watch a 49’rs game and STAY AWAY FROM THE GAYS!! hahaha….just kidding, I respect your preferences hahaha.
:)
Hi. Ana sent me.
*raises hand* That’d be me. LOL (Ana)
I’m a huge lurker… LOL
Congrats on the move…
I’ve been to San Francisco once.
For a fieldtrip with my french class in High School… It was fun.
I’m not sure what part of Mexico you’re coming from, but if it’s from el D.F. then it won’t be such a drastic change for ya. LOL
Except for maybe the weather..?
*throws you another pack of Antacid*
For the trip ~_^ Congrats.
I still can not believe you are moving to SF. It blows the whole ‘Best Latin American Weblog’ bloggie category wide open!
