Glad to know you and your dad are ok, Jon. I just made sure everyone I know over there is ok. This kind of thing is… I don’t even know. It just blows.
I’ll have a pint in your honor, mates.
It totally blows. I don’t have an appetite today - feels too much like 9/11.
on a lighter note, sergio, do you *really* need a reason to have a pint?
s’gotta point. If someone sneezes, you’d have a pint in their honour mr sergio^.^
Totally. If he could, he’d have a pint while he slept.
What’s a pint?
In the US: two cups.
Thats a total of 16 oz of delicious refreshing beer…well, it could be 16 oz of anything, but i’d rather think of beer.
It wasn’t very nice to wake up to.
They’ve found more dead apparently…
Like any terrorist attack this is completely F.U.B.A.R.
But as you might have seen The British have basically said “Thanks very much for you concern, but we really must be getting back to work now.”
So don’t worry, :) You can’t terrorize London that easily, it’s full of Londoners lol.
Hey Sergio, we’re all well and accounted for (but you know that now) - thanks for thinking of us here. And apologies too - for missing the happy birthday message (I have no excuse, your birthday is in my calendar!)
I’m over in the UK, in Southampton… it’s been such a messed up day today.
My dad was in Liverpool Street at the time of the explosion there but is OK. I spent half the day just getting in touch with people. Two friends of friends were injured, but no worse luckily. My housemate got turned back on his train into London. One of my friends caught up in the mess was caught up in the Madrid bombings as well.
I know a lot of people who are stranded in the centre at the moment: most of them have gone to the pub. Hooray for the British spirit :)
What a day.
