A list like this concerns me, if only because I’ve recently read the chapters on covert operations in “Crossing the Rubicon” (Amazon link in URL). If you’re given to exploring conspiracies, you might draw some conclusions about the list of dead scientists.

My first gut conspiracy? “Superflu” (a la “The Stand”) is under development, if only to cull large portions of what is certain to be a rebellious, first-world-sliding-into-third-world population. Once Peak Oil has been reached and the American consumer’s needs can’t be met at the drop of a hat, we’re going to be a rowdy bunch and hard to control. Easier to just start a disease vector and ensure that the vaccines are only in the hands of the power elite.

Crazy? We’ll see.
