The cunt part is real. It wasn’t broadcast (except on outtake shows). One that I saw that was broadcast was P.E.N.S.I…
The other games include having to make 5 “random” (The contestants choose how many large (25,50,75) and how many small (1-10) numbers) numbers add, multiply, dive, and subtract to make a three didgit random number.

Actually six numbers are chosen, you can choose 0-4 large numbers and the rest small to make those up, the large number can be 25, 50, 75 and 100, the small numbers are 1-10 as stated above
there’s also a final round called the conundrum where they see a scrambled 9 letter word and have to buzz in to get it, this is worth 10 points and often makes a difference to the final outcome, richard generally calls it a ‘crucial conundrum’ on those occasions..
Countdown is more important than life itself. I am constantly bewildered at the increasingly earlier scheduling. Why isn’t it prime time? Its not just the retired, disabled, unemployed, students and prisoners who like to watch it.

Twice Nightly Whitely (the tea time show and the late night reruns they used to do) will never be off the air!
Just two weeks ago Channel 4 insist that some of Europe’s biggest races must be run earlier.
