Last summer I stayed for a day in a Mexican girl’s apartment in Zagreb. She moved all the way to Croatia to be close to her croatian boyfriend, member of a Zagreb mariachi band. She had since broken up with him, but was in the process of hooking up with another croatian mariachi. His mariachi band was quite popular there, and they played very good music. Better than 90% of the mariachis i’ve heard in Mexico.
