What do you mean? The shapes represent the cube, and you can use the palette to “paint” the squares of a particular cube of yours. Then you click “solve” and then start hitting “next” to see the moves (the animation works in Internet Explorer, doesn’t work in Firefox, but you can still see the square color moves).
I don’t follow why there aren’t six squares of nine for the palette. I guess my brain doesn’t work the way they set it up…
You use the pallete to select a color (it shows up in the big squeare). Then you go over to the six squares of nine and start painting squares with that color.
What’s the deal with the shapes? Why are they not squares? Am I missing something?
